Champion builds another 800+hp na emission legal !!!!
Just finished breaking in another NA Monster on the engine dyno for a customer. This engine produced 831hp and over 700tq. This engine maked 20 inches of vacuum at idle and passes all emission standards. Ready for Shipping!

Keep in mind that here in Ontario, if you change your engine you have to update the emissions to the current standards. I have no intention of putting catalytic converters on my 74 or anything else the MOE demands. I am still planning on putting SS side pipes after the engine upgrade.
I looked at a 74' 454 that I saw posted on Kijiji for 2500.00 but not sure I wanted to deal with swapping out my engine. I don't need a rocket under my seat, just something that has at least 400 hp and looks and sounds real nice and runs solid.

Ok smart guy with all the money in the world... I am budgeting about 5K to spend on an engine upgrade in the next couple of years. Any suggestions?

Old school put a good carb, intake, heads, cam, and exhaust. 400+ no problem.

Thanks Rob, for responding.
I was looking at the Edelbrock Top End kits. They say it will do just that.
Do you guys have any experience with these?
