Are there any shops that will port heads or intake manifolds locally?

Try Gord Bush and Canadian Cylinder Head. I used to be in the import world and these two places were some of the best for engine building.

Steve lotta guys I know are hitting 450 + rwhp with a good port/polish, the right cam, Fast intake, full exhaust, UD pulley, proper tune etc.... fun to drive 'em that way NA.....

I would get them cnc ported but thats me. You pay for what you get. If Rob can do that or he has a great porter and a flow bench then great!! I know Advanced Induction does a great job!

Only issue is the dollar. Not sure what your budget is....
