Default ECS Paxton - Canada

Anybody in these parts running a ECS Paxton Novi 1500 setup on a C6? Lots on the C6 Forced Induction section but I don't see too many Canadian owners with one. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Out my way most of the centrifugal sc's are Vortech, (A&A) with the odd Pro-Charger here and there.

Who did your installs, what do you think of the fit and finish, are you happy with the hp, any mechanical issues, is it easy to get parts for upgrades and any comparisons to other sc's that you may have owned in the past?

The guys I know who have them are happy with them. Paxton and Vortech are the same company so the actual blowers are very similar. If you search the forums you will find many ECS/A&A debates so no need to get into that. In the end I think they both are good and it's a matter of personal preference. Personally I run a YSI from A&A but have nothing against ECS. If you did want ECS stuff I would speak to Matt at FSP because ECS can be frustrating to get service from lately.

You could also speak to Manny at Dasilvia if you prefer to stay canadian. They are an ECS dealer.

You are correct, DaSilvia Motorsports was the only Canadian vendor listed on their site. I have heard some say the overall package from ESC has a better fit and finish than A&A. I don't know how subjective that is though, hence the thread.

We have installed both and they are both good. We are installing an A&A supercharger kit on our new C7

A&A supercharger is the number 1 selling kit on this forum. If you would like to see one being installed please come by this week and have a look.
Also have another Corvette with an A&A YSI just completed.

I have the ECS 1500 kit on my 08 Z06, And ECS did the install. Needless to say the car is a savage. I have no complaints, my car other then the heads being redone to avoid a dropped valve is stock. Fun times, great price and unmatched professionalism at ECS.

Why don't you give Paxton/Vortech a call and see who purchases more head units then the other. Apparently the answer may surprise you.
