And so the journey to my new corvette continues. Order from a dealer back in August of 2014 to get a 2015. They didn't get enough allocation to fill my order.
Cancelled order at that dealer and order with another dealer. Order all placed to get their 2015 allocation with a May/June delivery! Awesome.
A month goes by and the order moves to status "2000" and I'm informed that Velocity Yellow is discontinued. Ugh
I changed my order to my second choice. Daytona Sunrise Orange.
I hope I'm going to be happy. Mid-May build with end of May delivery.
What does everyone think of Daytona Sunrise Orange?

Daytona Sunrise Orange is an amazing color and in the future you'll be glad you got it as it will be a lot less common than yellow. Not that there is anything wrong with yellow, I just prefer colors that are more unique. (which is why I was very sad to see Limerock Green get cancelled after just one year)
I'm getting excited. Velocity Yellow was discontinued at the end of the 2015 run for a new yellow in 2016. I had a hard decision to get a 2015 or 2016. It means more to get a 2015 then a yellow 2016...

my friend just got word last week that thier yellow car would not be yellow, and the order was placed last summer also, and they just find this out now ? kind of bogus if you ask me, dealer said there was a problem with the pixels in the paint or some story.

They ordered the car last summer and waited this long and still haven't gotten a car?? They sure picked the wrong dealer to deal with!

Yup, for sure wrong dealer, was not in gta, but not far off, probably only vette they sold in 5 yrs, cause the son in law works there. Was promised it in the fall and every few weeks there after, suppossed to be here next week, will see.
