So my trans has been popping out of gears 1 and 2 and I think my syncros are going bad, looking like I am going to need to do a rebuild soon. Where is the best place in the GTA to get this done? Is it possible to do yourself? I am on a bit of a budget so I would like to do it myself if possible.

When rebuilding it yourself, ensure that you buy the good "made in USA" parts, as some "offshore" parts are inadequate....One has to know the difference, between them...
A friend of mine in Niagara, rebuilds Muncie's & T-10's all the time, and has been doing so for Decades. He vends at Flea Markets and uses the USA parts. He stands by his work as well.

Bump so I managed to deal with this issue this summer but I definitely need to get this fixed over the winter for next season. Does anybody know anybody that specializes in t56s and or t6060s? I'll be giving mouse a call tomorrow, but just wondering if anybody has any other ideas.

If your dead set on dealing with someone from the GTA, then go with some of the suggestions above. If it was me I would be dealing with RPM transmissions in Anderson, Indiana. Just my .2
