Cruise with Zeeman28a to Mike Jackson's Sprint Fling, Sunday May 24
So I'm heading up to Collingwood for the Mike Jackson Spring Fling on May 24, but taking an extended cruise up to Owen Sound and then onto Collingwood.
I will be leaving the Tim Hortons at Dixon and Martin Grove at 8am. If you'd like to cruise with me, that's where I'll be. Heading up Hwy 10 to Owen Sound and across 26, along the lake into Collingwood. Should arrive sometime between 11am-12pm.
Will go for a cruise through Wasaga Beach to the Boston's Pizza for a late lunch. Then head into Barrie to the 400 and home. All contingent on the weather cooperating. Meaning, no wet stuff.
If you go, please bring a goodie bag for the food bank. Thanks.
Reminder bump for anyone wanting to go to Spring Fling and to anyone wanting to go on that extended cruise in the morning with me.
If you're in the west end and want to meet up with us along the way, I will be cruising Hwy 10 all the way into Owen Sound so plenty of meet up opportunities.
Had planned on going Stan----but the Shriners Special Ladies day is on Sunday and I have volunteered as a driver---Have fun guys--and someone take pictures!!!
Sorry can't make the 8 am departure. I will be leaving the on route gas bar just north of Major Mac at 10 am. Anyone leaving latter can hook up with me if your not going up with Stan.
Dah-Ming met me at Hwy 410 and Hwy10 and we cruised up to Owen Sound. From there, cruised into Collingwood to Mike Jackson Chevrolet for Spring Fling. Had over 100 cars there.
Spring Fling, hosted by the WBCC, and the C7 up for grabs via the Wasaga Beach Rotary Club raffle.
Met up with Sandy, Paul & Mary, Gary and Diane from LCCC.
Sandy and Randy, who showed up late.
Ran into Mike and Diane from Lucas Oil/Corvette Central
Lots of C7 at the show. Unfortunately, no Z06 Convertible.
I think someone copied Sandy's plates.
But there was '70 Charger.
Michael (ol'yella) ended up showing up for a bit too.
After they called the 50/50 number, we left the show for a brief cruise thru Wasaga Beach and went to Boston Pizza for lunch.
And some really delicious Ice Cream.
In total from the time I left my house to the time I backed into my garage.
It sure was a great day Stan and a great idea for the cruise through the Beach.. Great pictures. After Mike took the shortcut on the 9th line.. He followed us across IBR to Yonge St. Sometimes shortcuts just don't work.
Looks like I missed a good show! I've been wondering why the heck there are practically no C7s down this way, even after almost two full years of production, but I can see that's because all the C7s seem to be up north of the GTA!
