Default So I go to Champion today...

And Valerie (aka Vettegirl) asks Rob to take her for a ride in the Champion C7. Rob tosses the keys over and says "you guys take it out". What??? Before I could say thanks, Valerie is out in the car, behind the wheel mind you, waiting for me. She screamed and hollered and woo hoo"d for half a mile. She did give me a chance to drive and OMG I was in love. The power is intoxicating, even in the city at moderate speeds the handling was awesome, and the exhaust note was so cool. It was the most fun I've had in somebody else's car ever.

One more big thanks to Rob.

Oh and BTW; Vettegirl is now shopping for a C7 with my money!

Does that mean you're selling the C7?

A mid engine Zora C8 will definitely take the Corvette brand upmarket with a hefty price increase as well.

I don't think it's been confirmed by GM at all, but I do believe some dealers are taking deposits just in case.

Try to be first in line to get one, but only draw back is you have to pay list price.

I don't understand all the fuss and confusion.... I put my deposit down on the C8 mid engine some time ago and already have the build date.... Salesman told me I'll have it in time for your open house Rob...

List price isn't bad, I bet a lot of dealers will try to charge $5 to $10k over list!

My new C7 is my forth Vette and by far the nicest I have ever owned. You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned handling, exhaust note and power...I just can't image why a Z06 would ever be used for regular street use, the 6.2/460hp is more than enough to get myself into tonnes of trouble already.

Best build Vette yet imo.
