Default HDR Thursday June 11 - A little change up

For anyone interested, some of us are going to meet up at the Three Stooges Family Restaurant in Port Credit (Mississuaga Rd and Lake Shore) from 6-7pm for dinner, and then cruise to Yorkdale Mall for 9-10pm meet up for the cruise down Yonge.

The meetup at Yorkdale is the regular every Thursday evening meetup. That is not changing. Just adding this bit before we meet up at the mall. So if you can't make the restaurant, we will still meet up at Yorkdale.

Three Stooges Family Restaurant
111 Lakeshore Rd W
Mississauga, ON L5H 2E3

Parking (and parking fee if any) to be confirmed as either at the restaurant or in the boat launch/commercial charter area across the street.

Thanks to Vicky for the suggestion.

Stan.

So I'm here at Three Stooges. Just ordered some French Onion Soup, burger with fries and a coke.

I left my office at 5:10pm and arrived 6:20pm. Crazy getting out of the city at rush hour.

There should be plenty of parking. 3S has 2 lots. One off Lakeshore which has about 20 spots and one on the side with 10 spots. I would not recommend the side lot for the lowered cars.

French Onion soup just arrived so I'll sign off for now.

The soup was delicious. Some of the best I've had in a long time.

Parking is also available on the side street but it's pretty full right now.

And there is no sign at the boat launch that says private parking. And no meters either. So I think we'll be ok.

Ah here's my burger and fries.

Decent burger and fries. Was expecting better for what looks like a homemade burger. Fries have the skiins on them.

One thing I noticed with the parking lot is that even though Three Stooges and Starbucks share the same lots, people tend to park and go elsewhere.

So our hostess Robin will be here Thursday evening. Reservations are under Stan in case anyone gets here before 6:30. If there's room, we can eat on the patio, if not they'll seat us inside.

See you Thursday evening.

I like raw-cut fries. Should be a nice evening to be on the patio.
If we were seated on the patio, can we keep an eye on our cars from there?

I don't think it's an unsafe area, but there is a lot of movement and bikes, etc. around.

Didn't see any cyclists or motorcycles while I was there. If we had gone tonight, we would have been safe. The dock is closed at this time so we don't have to worry about people with trucks pulling boats and trailers.

The patio faces the side parking lot, with a restricted view of the main parking lot. Took some pictures with my new Galaxy S6 Edge. I'm impressed with the quality of pictures from this phone.

The main parking lot, along with a vehicle you haven't seen in quite a while.

The side parking lot. The patio is under the Three Stooges Sign. The main parking lot is just on the other side of the patio.

Here's the street parking only on the west side of the street, if there's room. No "no parking" signs that I saw so I think we're good along there.

Here's the loading dock parking. Dock is closed so very little traffic in there, but parking is limited to up against the street. Three Stooges just behind that row of trees. Now this lot is also shared with the charters so they may not like us parking in here.

The charters.

There is pay parking on the north side of LakeShore.

Yes those pics are pretty good from that phone!

Guess we're just there at busier times when bicycles, strollers etc. always seem magnetically attracted to my plastic car.

Looking forward to some decent weather too. Feeling due!

Makes sense, I guess. The city's no place for a car you care about.

Picked up a nail in the front left tire so had it getting fixed yesterday. Plus with the rain today and tomorrow, thought I'd drive the Big D.

Hey Paul.

I'm leaving my office at King&York around 5pm and should be by your place around 6. Randy might meet us at Islington and Lakeshore for the cruise to Three Stooges. He will let me know later in the day if he can meet up with us along the way.

Cool. Remember to pull in to the laneway beside the Eldorado apartments, just west of Royal York.
Vicky's meeting us here too.
Randy's (plus anyone else is) welcome to hookup here also before heading to the Stooge's.

Nice day by the lake today
Unfortunately can't get away to grab the Corvette so going to be vetteless, maybe I'll hitch

Hi Dhonnie.

I should be pulling into Paul's around 6 and if we leave right away, it's only a half hour drive from there.

But if you get there before us, the reservation is under my name.
