C6 wins 1st event of Mobil 1 Time-Attack series
Nice to see Greg Campbell and his mildly modified C6 win the best overall for the first event of the Mobil 1 Time-Attack series at the CTMP Driver Development Track on June 6. Poor Greg fell to second place for event 2 on June 7. Me, a lot lower.
The Time-Attack series is open to all cars and we see everything from beat up Civics to Porsche 911 GT3s. Also saw my first C7 Z06 on the track, (man I would love those "OE" Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s)

The series moves on to TMP on Saturday June 20 in the afternoon and evening and then back to CTMP for the big Mosport track on the weekend of July 4-5. School/lapping on Saturday and competition on Sunday. WAY cheaper than most other groups (especially considering it is a weekend). We are also planning a special Ford vs Chevy challenge for July 5. No big prizes, but recognition of the different manufacturers that go head to head in battle for eternity.
Wouldn't take you a lot to sign up.
