Al is Mr. Happy Go Lucky guy.

I'm a glass is half empty guy too Al, but i don't go around tempting fate, if you know what I mean.

Besides, that weather report is for Whitby. What you should be doing is watching Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Niagara Falls.

If we leave the Tims at Winston Churchill and QEW at 10AM, it shouldn't take us more than 40-45 min to get there. Can you be there for 11? If not, we can wait till 11:30. It's only a test run tomorrow to check the route out and my estimated timing.

You bet Wilf. Ch 5.0

I'll have my radio with me.

Otherwise, you can call me on my cell at 416 450 7214.

From here on, if we have a large group, we may get spread out and separated a bit. I’d ask that everyone please keep an eye on the car behind you and if you see anyone getting stuck or delayed, to signal the person in front so we can all slow down a bit for them to catch up. I don’t like leaving anyone behind and do my best to keep us all together but sometimes, that’s not possible as it impedes the other traffic and they can get testy. If we do get separated by a large margin, call my cell at 416 450 7214 and I will slow the group down where I can and stop if I have to, to let everyone catch up. Everyone should have my cell and it’s a good idea to have a buddy system going to call anyone else in the group, just in case. I have hands free in the car so I’m safe to answer calls. Plus for those that have radios set to Ch 5.0, we can use them as well.

Doesn't look too good out there right now, but I'm heading out shortly. Clouds are supposed to clear out as the day progresses. If anyone wants to join me, meet me at one of the 3 spots.

First meet up will be at the Tim Hortons at Dixon and Martin Grove for 9AM.
Second meet up will be the Tim Hortons at Winston Churchill and QEW for 10AM.
Third meet up will be the Gateway Ice Center on Fruitland Rd. for 11AM.

Randy, Mike, Ryan, Rebecca and I met up with Les and Dan at the arena on Fruitland.

Ryan, those yellow lines are not to be used as centre guides on your backup camera.

We were joined by Rick and Charlene at Betty's Restaurant in their '63 Grand Sport Coupe for lunch and the cruise through Niagara. Unfortunately, Dan had to turn back home at this point.

Lunch at Betty's was delicious.

Thanks to everyone for joining me on the test run.

And while it looked all doom and gloom, we didn't have any rain for the entire cruise.

The cruise route has been updated a bit to avoid some road works, but we're good to go for Saturday. PLEASE SEE THE ORIGINAL POST (CLICK HERE) for meet up locations and times.

First meet up will be at the Tim Hortons at Dixon and Martin Grove for 9AM.
Second meet up will be the Tim Hortons at Winston Churchill and QEW for 10AM.
Third meet up will be the Gateway Ice Center on Fruitland Rd. for 11AM.
Fourth meet up will be Betty's Restaurant on Sodom Rd. for 1PM.
