Default FYI E test

Got caught with car in storage after my BD and had to get a temporary sticker to get car into dealer for the E test and wire recall for lights. I took the paper work into the service On office and was joking about the temp sticker. She told me you can get an E test up to 1 year in advance of needing it. Plus if you are within 6 months in advance you can purchase the sticker at the same time. This will make it easier for me in 2 years!!!

And.... you must have full insurance on the vehicle at the time you buy your plate sticker. Ask me how I know...

On the plus side; when I did get the sticker at the local Service Ontario office the informative counter lady told me that I should clean the area on the plate before applying the sticker. Really? I've only been applying these stickers since their inception. I chuckled on my way out of the office knowing that I didn't have to pay extra to get detailing advise! Still chuckle when I recall that conversation!

Temp sticker for an e-test? Being mine expires in January, I end up just driving my car to the e-test and then to the license office to get the sticker for the next 2 years before putting it on in the parking lot.
