HOV lanes for Corvettes

There's nothing legal about HOV lanes, they just a pain in the but, and a waste of road space, in this already busy province.
Here's what HOV really stands for
Hell On Vehicles.

and for what? Nobody gives 2 craps for these PanScam games, ticket sales are way down so they are now discounting them 25%. I'm sure a bigger discount coming soon.

We have regions that are falling apart at the seams (i.e. infrustructure, traffic, etc.) yet the governments seem to think it just fine to WASTE billions of tax payers' dollars on an event that not many people really give a damn about.
The media is doing a countdown to the START of the PanAm/Para PanAm games, I'm doing a countdown to the END!

it's all about getting dollars into the GTHA, hope we don't spend more on it than is realized by the business people .... when you subtract the loss incurred as a result of the people that stay away from the GTHA mess i bet there's a net loss, well at least the Airport trolley is working.

The whole HOV lane concept is flawed in my opinion.
The original intent, from my understanding, was to encourage carpooling to get vehicles off the road and thereby reduce emissions. In reality, not that many people are able to carpool based on how infrequently people fly by in that lane while I'm sitting in traffic.
So essentially they've taken an entire lane away and removed maybe a few thousand vehicles from the road, but have forced a few hundred thousand (or more) to sit in traffic and idle (the most inefficient thing to do).
Then you have the solid white line through most of the HOV lane.. HOV lane riders don't plan their exit and try and cut across 3-4 lanes at the last minute to make their exit. It makes everyone else slam on the brakes behind them and creates issues.
