Z06 prices going up! WTH?

I'm not referring to you... I'm talking about the mentality of low balling someone by offering them way under their listed price. Doing it in person is even worse because it's a waste of time.
If you're willing to pay $x for a vehicle, there's no point in wasting a seller's time by showing up, seeing the car, then showing them a cheque for 15% less than what the car is listed for. Just look at something else to begin with.

Whenever I see an outrageous price for a Corvette for sale, I automatically think that it must be one of those situations where the guy's wife tells him he must sell the car, so he advertises it at a ridiculous price that nobody would pay. Then he just never ends up selling the car and gets to keep it

Before I bought my 2011 Z last November 2014 I would consistently look at the AutoTrader at least 3 times a week if not more for 2-3 years looking at The Z06'.
I've never seen one with 20k kms sell less than 50k. At one point last summer there was no Z's to be found. Now the AutoTrader has over 20 of them from 06-2011. At first I was going to pick up a 2006 or 2007 but was advised not to because of the transmissions going from the T56 to a T6060 in 08 and up.
So as far as getting a Z for less than 50k with only 20-30kms, you never know but I don't think anytime soon!
