The Mobil 1 Time-Attack series is moving to the Ottawa valley at Calabogie Motorsports Park on the August Long weekend. If you have never driven this track, it is a real honey. 5 km long (1 full km longer than Mosport) 22 turns and 4 serious straights in a very picturesque setting with great pavement and elevation changes.

The MCO (Motorsport Club of Ottawa) is running a lapping day (with instruction available) on Saturday for a killer price and the Time-Attack series is running a competition event on Sunday. In case you don't think the Time-Attack series is for Corvettes, at our last event we had 7 competing Corvettes, ranging from a C4 to a C7 Z06, all of them street driven.

Next up will be Shannonville Motorsport Park for the (second fastest in Ontario) Pro Track on Saturday and the Full 4 km long track on Sunday on the Aug 15-16 weekend. These are great places to let your car stretch it's legs without a lot of high consequence walls. Personally I find Shannonville to be the perfect track to really test your car at the limits safely
