A/C Hose Crimping Help.
In the Vintage Air installation the high and low sides have to be cut to length and one end has to be crimped. Does anyone know who does this so that it matches the type of crimping as shown on the right side. The manual shows what type of crimping tools needs to be used but if anyone has installed Vintage Air will have come across this situation.
I know Princess Auto deals with hydraulic hose crimping but I don't know if it's the same tool used for a/c pressurized lines.
Your help is appreciated as I'm limited in the time available to phone around.
Thanks you.

You can try this shop.
Ontario Radiator Service
228 Drumlin Circle Concord (Keele/ Steeles area)
905-738-5235
They made custom hoses for my old 911. They re-used the old ends and cut the hoses to length.
I used them over 10 years ago and I was happy with the results.

Brian71 Thanks for the reply and information but I need to find a shop that I know can do it as I'm on a very tight schedule. If I called the shop I wouldn't know how to explain the type of crimping I need to verify if they can do it.
I apologize if there is any tone in my reply as I'm very tired.

79 Bullet - Thanks for the reply, I'll assume you had the Vintage Air lines done there and if so did you make an appointment or just show up one day and ask to have them crimped.
I'm trying to find a day that I can spare some time to make it down there as it they maybe my best bet if I'm sure they can do those two lines.

79 Bullet - I had to go to Princess Auto yesterday so I thought I would try them first and they said no. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested Cisco in Mississauga. At Cisco, I explained what I wanted, gave him the write up to show what tool was needed and made sure the fittings were in the right clocking and made sure to say please at the end of my speech. When I received the fitting back (in about 5 minutes) the crimping tool used was different and the end was moved.
In conclusion I hope it works with no leaks as I have no time to rework it for next weekend. If anything there will be no a/c this summer, but then it hasn't been that hot lately either.
Thanks again.
