Hey Stan.

How has the response been to staying overnight at Deerhurst? Mary and I and a mystery couple are figuring to stay but it would be nice if more were taking up the rate.

i Paul.

Right now, only DigitalZ, yourself and the mystery couple have shown interest. I'm not really keeping tabs on this. But if people were to say they were booking for the weekend, I'm sure others would too.

What about yourself? Are you and Randy splitting on a room?

OK. Us and Gary and Diane who have cruised with this group before are booked into Deerhurst for the night. One other couple has booked as well. I think Stan has spoken with her?

Should be a great day / weekend

Won't be able to make the cruise. I'll try and drop by the rest stop before you head out.

Stan a bit of an oddity in the North County. With only some minor exceptions the leaves have not started to turn colour. I find it odd, seems late.

With some luck a month from now will still be spectacular for fall colours.

I will be there.

Good news I hope Murray. Would love to have a repeat of the colours from 2012. Last couple of years, Thanksgiving has been the divider from the bright colours to the yellowing and brown.

Before is a great display, but after, not so much.

I'm going to do my damnest to meet the group in Huntsville.

Originally I was going to be Moose hunting that weekend, but those plans have changed and I'm going T-Giving weekend and will be home on the 16th.

The spousal unit is away so I'll have my son as co-pilot for the day. Lots of potty breaks along the way, ya know, for you more "senior" members.

Birch trees are just starting to turn yellow here in North Bay. No frost yet, but we've had a few nights of 5*.

Any idea where the group might be going afterwards?

Not sure yet Mike.

Mike, aka Raggdoll, is organizing this route this year and I believe he's still working on it. I know it'll probably include Hwy's 60 and 35 and maybe a couple of scenic side roads along the way, so coming down the east side of the Lake.

But I have a couple of ideas I'll float by him for the folks that are up in the Barrie, Orillia, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville area. And even for you Powassan folks.

Any chance of swinging into the Barrie OnRoute on the way up the 400 to pick up 4 more cars Stan? It's a lot easier then waiting at Timmies at Innisfil Beach Road and trying to blend in on the highway.

Yeah I think we can make that a pit stop. But not sure how many cars we'll have with us and they've shrunk that centre down from what it used to be.

Ron. Is the Club going to follow Stan's / Mike's route for the cruise after lunch at Deerhurst now instead of the route you sent out to us last week?

Probably 60, 35, Portage Road, RR20 maybe. Mike (Raggdoll) is planning the route after lunch and not sure where he wants to take us.

But if we are coming down 35, I'll be heading west on 118 to Hwy 11 and then heading south. I may do RR20 (it's a nice scenic and twisty drive) and then head back north on 35 to 118. A group will continue south on 35 to 12 and 48. Plus there's a group that have booked rooms at Deerhurst for the weekend.

Only 2 weeks away. Long range looks good.
