Stan and Mike, I look forward to seeing the final route to Huntsville. My plan is to hook up with you folks somewhere along the way. The colours should be spectacular, still somewhat muted but by Thanksgiving and the weekend after they should be incredible.

Looking forward to the last Corvette run of the year.

A group will continue south on 35 to 12 and 48. Plus there's a group that have booked rooms at Deerhurst for the weekend.

Only 2 weeks away. Long range looks good.
That sounds ok to me Stan I was in Huntsville today, colours starting to look pretty good!

This cruise is a great idea; not sure at this point if I can make it, but I hope to be able to!

I spoke with Heino yesterday, Birgit and him will either meet us at the Petro Canada 400N King City, or at the next pick up spot, 400 Travel Plaza in Barrie.

Mike what route are you taking going northbound to Huntsville?

Any idea of times at various locations? Just trying to figure out where I can meet up with the group (Haliburton/Muskoka).

Looking forward to a great drive with the group.

We are coming straight up 11, meet us along the way somewhere, or maybe at Deerhurst?

Hey Murray.

We are leaving at 10AM and should be up by Gravenhurst around 11:15am or so, Bracebridge around 11:30, and Huntsville around 1pm, depending on traffic, if you want to meet us for the cruise up to Deerhurst.

I can give you a call once we get close by to where you want to meet us so you can position yourself close by to join up with us. PM or email me your cell number.

Stan.

Cold but sunny in Haliburton/Muskoka on Saturday. Chance of flurries.

Sounds like a great day for a cruise to Huntsville to me. Leaves are still spectacular, just like the Jays.

Hope this is a go.

What about snow Mike?

They are calling for flurries this weekend down here and it's going to be worse up north.

The rain and cold I can handle. Snow and slush, mmm not so much. At least, not in the vette. I can be there in my DD.

I highly doubt there will be any snow, won't be cold enough.

Enough of that talk

Hey folks.

I was chatting with Mike and we agreed to post up this request to everyone for Saturday's cruise.

I know the weather reports will keep a lot of you away. Can't say that we really blame you on this. But we would like to request those that don't come out in the vettes to at least make the cruise in their daily drivers.

This is the last official cruise of the season, and it is in Alex's memory. We'd still like it for everyone to get together for this last event.

Right now, the snow seems to be limited to the Barrie and Orillia area if it does fall, so we should be good once we get north of Orillia. Plus the fall colours for the ride home should still be spectacular.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow at the King City OnRoute on Hwy 400 north of Major Mac, and a second stop at the Barrie OnRoute on Hwy 400 north of Mapleview.

Stan.

Colours Stan? The leaves are all gone now. Well maybe not. Absolutely stunning this morning. Here is proof that the fall "colour rama" is alive and well and waiting for our arrival in Huntsville.
