Winter
Hi Guys
Apologies I know this is the "events" section, but I wanted to ask my fellow Canadians a question...
I'm looking to order a 2016 Z51 shortly. Curious if anyone drives in the winter and has a winter wheel /tire setup... If so, could you share details...
My intent here is not to open the debate of driving in the winter. Thx

Depending on which dealer you order your 2016 from, you might not even receive it until the spring anyhow, so you might not have to worry about winter tires until the next winter season (on the plus side, it'll give you lots of time to gather data!)

Hi Guys - bumping this thread up. Someone in Canada must run their C7 Z51 all four seasons and has winter tires.
Any help appreciated... Thx.

Hi, I am planning to drive in winter as long as the roads are bare. I live in the GTA.
Based on positive recommendations on this Board I went to Steelcase Tires/Mags in Marhham (standard disclosure: no connection) for their best advice for a winter setup for my 15 Z51. They gave me a couple of options, and I decided to go with the following:
Wheels: Brealin BR01 - Front 19x8.5 $299
- Rear 19x10 $349
Brealin is a Canadian company, wheels are matte black.
Tires: 245/35R19 - 285/35-19
Michelin Alpin PA4 - Front $349
- Rear $ 399
I know there are more than a few ways to skin this cat, but this is what I settled on and ordered.
Good luck!

Thanks for the detailed reply!!! I like the 19" /19" setup.
Just confirming you've installed and the offsets and everything lines up Nice.
Strange Coincidence, I was on my way home and stopped at the Beer Store, and some dude in a Kia parks next to me with these exact rims!

I have ordered but not installed: I was more than confident that Steelcase undertands the Vette offsets and parameters, they have done C7s before, and the Braelin site is clear regarding C7 Z51 compatibility etc.
Will install in late October......

The winter wheels/tires are on, and I am very happy with the professionalism of Steelcase (Mike Perkins) and the overall package/look. No hesitation on a positive recommendation. The package meets all clearance requirements and drives extremely well for winters. It's nice to drive with confidence in the colder temperatures!

Thanks for sharing. The setup looks great and the offsets are spot on for aftermarkets in this price range. When I get my C7 I'll be ordering these.

Nice to see another owner enjoying their Corvette throughout the year!
I went with 18/18" set up... but I don't recommend getting too caught up watching the SuperBowl and forgetting to put your car away LOL!
