Drive a little further and go to Steelcase Tire at Steeles and Woodbine. They are outstanding and really care!

(I took a tire with a really slow leak to Canadian Tire recently. They told me there was a 3 inch cut in the tire and it could not be repaired. I insisted that they show me the tire...no cut and no leak where it was supposed to be. Replaced valve at Steelcase and end of problem.)

Gonna check out Tony Soprano's Tires, have an espresso and participate in some money laundering.

Update

I took the tire off to see if I could find the source of the leak and couldn't find anything in the treads so I checked valve and the rim. I found a 3-4" section on the front side of the rim where I was getting bubbles.

Yesterday I took it into a qualified tire shop and when they dismounted it they found this,

Today I opened a claim with Michelin and they asked me to work with an authorized dealer, the shop that dismounted the tire was so with case number in hand they called on my behalf. I'm very happy to say that Michelin stood behind their product and replaced the tire free of charge.

I have to give a big shout out to Al who recommended the tire shop and Simply Tire (Andy was awesome and the place is very nicely setup) who worked with me and Michelin to make things right.

Simply tire is a great shop. Glad it was fixed and it was great of them to do the leg work on your behalf.

I'm on the fence about the installer as it didn't leak until a year later but it is possible. The shop in question is a well known qualified shop in the Corvette world.

I have no idea how these folks stay in business...I have been calling them for 3 days and kept getting a busy signal, finally got through today and there is voice recording basically saying that they are too busy to talk to someone and to check their website for info...pricing is from 2015 and even still how am I supposed to buy from them if I can't talk to them?

It sounds like I own the place but you should really give Steelcase a try. They are a 5 minute drive from you and are truly excellent.

They do get mega busy at this time of year (two Saturdays ago they had a one block lineup at 9:00AM!) but midday on a weekday should work.
