They don't, and that's a big problem. The umpires are never punished for bad calls, they can basically do whatever they want and get away with it. It's total BS. They should completely do away with the home plate umpire calling ***** and strikes, and just use a pitch tracker. That's the only fair way to do it. I don't see that happening anytime soon though....

Yes indeed!!! When I left the Rogers Centre on Friday night, after losing the first two games, I was so dejected that I said goodbye to some of my friends there and told them that I would probably not see them until next season. But now I'll be back in section 521 cheering even louder than ever on Wednesday night! And hopefully we'll take the win and continue on to the ALCS! Go Jays Go!

It's only going to be 13 degrees today, with 35km/h winds, so I doubt the dome will be open and I for one will prefer to sit there in comfort instead of freezing my butt off for 3 hours. Unfortunately open dome baseball is probably done for this year, unless we get another 20 degree day in the next few weeks.

The anticipation builds. Go Jays Go.

It should be a good game... If the Jays pull it off, they will have my respect.
Rangers were in the same position a few years back as they are now, won and went to the Series only to lose...

You sound like a true baseball fan Vettevick, just enjoying the game.
It will be exciting and because I like you I will have a beer for you. Some of that Canadian stuff but ice cold.
Enjoy.
