Interesting to see what happens with the lawsuit. I extended my warranty for another 4 years because of the guide issue on the LS7, and once that expires and I still have the car, I will be joining the hundreds of C6 owners in swapping or changing the heads because of the fear of destroying a $25000 engine.

Don't know what to think anymore. Was speaking to a guy a few weeks back with a 09 ZR1 he bought brand new. Never tracked the car, did open it up once in a while on highway like we all do. Was at a red light in idle when he dropped a valve. Fortunately there was no damage to the block. Just had to replace heads. Car was just shy of 30,000 km
So it's not just happening to LS7 it's also happening to LS9. This past year I've met 10-15 C6 Z06 owners and I only know of one that had a dropped valve and he tracked his car. So as far as it being blown out of proportion. I hope so!
