all ready to go
Hi
We are already to and leave at 5.30 am tomorrow. Looks like nice weather
Had one bad thing happen today a big stone from a truck hit on top of my hood. Nice chip. Was pissed. Fixed up as good as I could but we are still going to have a good time. We are looking to have fun and meet new people. See you guys in Carlisle

Well, almost four weeks on the hoist we got her all buttoned up last night, the car - and us - are now aligned for departure ~3am tomorrow (Thursday.)
Always great fun to do the night drive east to meet the sunrise...
Guess we'll see all you fine folks in Carlisle!
Drive safe... have a blast!

Looking forward to our first Carlisle experience! Many thanks to Bruce for the organizing and the hotel.
We will be leaving TO tomorrow (Thursday) not quite as early as a few others leaving TO (more like 6am), so I figure the border folks will be warmed to a few Corvette's crossing!

Don't worry Scube, I have my one Espresso at home, NO COFFEE FOR ME once on the road, otherwise I would have to stop BEFORE getting to the border!! Coffee and beer, you don't buy it, you Rent it!!
Anyone else have a Nexus pass? it's the BEST!

I used my Nexxus last month on the way to Watkins Glen. If you go thru before the pack and then try to wait on the other side of the Customs booths, the US Border Guard will shoo you away. And they're not nice about about it...
You would have to drive a ways down the highway and pull over to wait...only recommended if you have a radio and can stay in touch with everybody else. Otherwise stay close to the pack...

Uncle Dave negotiated the price then Scube anti-ed up for the new headers---smok'n deal!!
Awesome ride home---gotta say that is the fasted that this particular group has traversed the state of Pennsylvania---that I have taken part in---10 years--I think we have a new land speed record for Penn state!!!---Thanx Bruce for the room set up---Scube--always a pleasure assisting this group to Carlisle--some newbies this year--that I am sure will be joining the tour next year!!

You'll get separated from the pack.

But, if you ride with criminals, that could be a hold up.
