I was checking the spread on premium vs. regular at Shell today and it was a whopping 21 cents! Canadian Tire used to have a 13 cent spread for premium but now they have jacked that up to 15 cents (still a lot better than Shell).

That's why Costco is still the best bet, they have ethanol free premium and it's only 11 or 12 cents higher than regular (plus their price on regular today is only 83.9, which is ten cents less than everywhere else)

Reg fuel price at Costco in Peterborough is 81.6

At the station outside of Peterborough gas is 83.6
