Anyone know where M1 is on sale this week? The price of gas is down, why not the price of oil?


They, CTC, Walmart, are still charging like it's a $120 a barrel.

I'm not sure how far you live from the border, but I don't buy Mobil 1 in Canada anymore, because you can pick it up at Walmart in the US (in my case I go to Niagara Falls, NY) every day for $22.88 for 5 quarts. Even with the exchange rate being crappy it still comes out to $30 CDN (and they don't charge 13% tax like we do, I think theirs is only 6 or 7%) We buy a bunch of stuff when we visit, and fill up the car with cheaper US gas, so it ends up being worth the one hour drive from Oakville for us.

You were posting this as I was typing up my response, this deal definitely works out better than buying it in the US! I wonder why it's on clearance though, are they going to stop carrying it? (which I thought seems unlikely, but you never know!) It looks like they are almost sold out though, only 10w30 is left.

I bought it at CT yesterday "Mobile one" 5.4 ltr 36$ I buy it as I need it, it is always on sale, I do not store oil for long periods of time, I'm a strong believer in shelf life especially in a non controlled environment like my garage.
