If the Almanac and weather forecasters are right you'll get plenty of use out of your snowmobile this winter. Did you sell your 78?

nope. Not yet. Few trade offers, but nothing I'm interested in. Tools, boats,,,,,junk. No I don't want o trade you for a 2009 Malibu with 200,000km on it. Sheesh.

Does Anne want her own corvette? Lol. I can make her a deal.

House was very cold this morning. By the time I got up my wife had a fire blazing away, it did not take long to warm the place up. Thinking maybe I should buy a wood stove.

Sorry Mike, don't need another C3 but I do love your 78. I've thought of selling the '72 a few times over the years but Anne always says no. Would love to move a bit further north, maybe Wasaga area and get a sled for some winter fun. When we first moved to Orangeville in '90 ppl could still use their sleds in town. Kids rode them to the high school some days. I always get a bit envious when I read posts from you, Raggdoll and Brian about sledding. Only been on one once but had a blast, Anne used to go sledding in the late 70's with friends from Kincardine area.

My wife and I just spent the day in Kincardine this past Saturday, what a cool little town! We had never been there before, but we loved it! The beaches there are great, it has kind of a gulf side of Florida feel to it IMO. We had a prime rib dinner on the patio at Bruce steakhouse and watched a beautiful sunset over Lake Huron. Kincardine now moves to the top of our list of potential retirement communities (target time period is currently 2022 for us) We know that Kincardine gets hammered with snow in the winter, so we'll only be there from late April until early November, the rest of the time we'll be in Florida (unlike most of the people posting in this topic, my wife and I despise cold weather and snow with a passion, and can't wait to never see it again!)

Here is couple of shots from last winter. We are on the western border of Kokanee Mtn Glacier Park. You cannot see the lake where the brother of Prime Minister was carried away by an avalanche.

The park to the left.

We went up through the Bruce Peninsula yesterday. Leaves were maybe 20% changed. Went into Georgian Bay at Big Bay up to our knees, eventually circled around and over to Sauble Beach and both of us went swimming. Did the Jack/Shirley vette drive through water thing and had a blast. Next time I'll roll up my window.

Thanks, it's Inglis Falls just south of Owen Sound. I climbed down the side, it was really cool as you can go through some cave like formations but it was a bit slippery in parts. One guy climbed up the falls face. It was like watching an accident about to happen where you keep thinking don't look but have to look anyway. Thankfully he only slipped a coupke of times and recovered to make it up and over the top. A group of Mennonite women were also watching and I think were taking bets in German if he would make it or not.

Near the top of the climb down.
