CRUISE MOVED TO
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th
Same meet up times and locations.

If you have a radio, we will be using Channel 5-0.
Fall Muskoka Cruise - Saturday, October 15, 10:30am
I had a great time with the SickKids Cruise so why not, let's go for Round Two - no donations required but am happy to take your money nonetheless!
Murray (Black 03 Z06) suggested this cruise a while back, and after getting his blessing, I am taking up the torch to make this happen. He mentioned that the leaves are changing late this year so hopefully we will have a colour filled drive. Unfortunately, he is busy the weekend picked, but who knows he may do a Pokaroo!!!
Meeting Point: OnRoute on 400 (the one just north of Major MacKenzie)
Time: Meet for 10am and head out at 10:30am
North on Highway 400 to Highway 11 North.
Rest Stop: Shell Station on Highway 11 at South Kashe Lake Road. (Drivetime: about an hour from OnRoute).
Continue north on Highway 11 and exit on Highway 169/Bethune Road. Left at the KFC then a quick right onto 17/Muskoka Beach Road. (At about the 9km mark from where we turn right after the KFC there will be two small gravel patches and I will be slowing down through there - nothing major, just slow down through that section...should be a clear run after the second patch - both are only a few car lengths long).
Follow 17 to Highway 118, make a right. There is construction on the 118/11 overpass that is metered - if all of us cannot make it through the light at the same time, I will pull to the side AFTER the 11 on ramp until everyone has made it through (last person please flash your lights so that I know everyone is through - let's make this a cruise standard).
Turn left onto Morrow Drive and go past Muskoka Falls to Fredrick Street where we will make a left. Then onto Highway 11 and follow it to Highway 141 West that runs over to the Town of Rosseau.
Lunch: Crossroads Restaurant right at the four corners of Rosseau. Will make reservations based on the number of people committed to join. (Drivetime: about an hour from Shell - will probably arrive at 1pm).

Lots of on street parking and they have a big lot behind the restaurant as well. General store, art gallery and a few antique stores in Rosseau.
After lunch, get back onto 141 and then head south (left) on County Road 632 down through Port Sandfield to Highway 118.
Right onto 118, and make a left at Highway 169 and then another left when we get to Route 26/Foreman Road and follow it back around to 118 and make a right towards Port Carling.
Right onto 15 which will take us by Santa's Village Entertainment Park and follow that to where it ends. Make a left onto 118 and proceed about a kilometre to the Tim Hortons on the right.
The run would officially end here. (Drivetime: 1hr 15 mins from the Restaurant).

Hope you folks have a great time.
Highway 141 is a beautiful drive and the road down from Rosseau is as good as it gets for fun driving.
If this one is as good as Faraz's last adventure it will indeed be a good time.
