Bit I've lived with it for 12 years now so no surprise to me. Plus I don't quibble about the cost of gas when I drive a $80K car. You drive a car like ours, some expenses we go into knowing very well.

I guess you missed my point. The vette, for the supercar performance car it is, gets relatively good mileage. The V...not so much.

My GS was my 6th vette, and I could care less about mileage. Just making observations.

I'm constantly amazed at the fuel mileage my C6 gets. Sure, I didn't buy the car for fuel economy, but it's a damn nice bonus when I can take it on long trips and see the average MPG be over 37 on the highway. My wife's BMW 328i with half the horsepower doesn't get nearly as good fuel economy as the Vette.

i agree Pat

same as my Acura Type S. not close to the vette for mileage.

2nd gen V's are pigs. They weigh 4240 ish plus whatever you weigh, then add a blower.

Wait till you start modding it! Its around 1000 lbs less then your old Vette.
