In the mood for a run early tommorrow . Would be great to have some company. Time is fixed as I have obligations in the afternoon.

Departing at 7:30 am
Will return to the same place about 5 hrs later.
No planned stops but nature will probably require one or two.

Not sure how many weekends are left to enjoy so this is very last minute...

I can't leave until 8:45 or so but I will come south on 35 and hopefully we can meet up somewhere before Norland. If we pass maybe you guys can pull over somewhere suitable until I turn and catch up.

If you are leaving at 8:45, think the best place to meet would be the Tims in Minden. The crew coming up could use that as a rest stop as well. We will probably be near the end of Deep Bay Road around the time you would get to Minden.

Tims on the west side of 35 just south of Water Street. We will be turning south onto Water Street as well after driving along the river after the bridge.

Faraz, I will go into Minden on the Bobcaygeon Road and go south on DB Road. If I get to 35 without seeing you guys I will wait there.

Might want to think about going to Baked and Battered in Haliburton for coffee. Tim's is alright but their parking lots sucks and it is full of hunters with trailers and pickups this time of the year, busy place. B & B is only 20 minutes from Minden has a friendly parking lot and better coffee.

Drive careful guys. Don't lose Al.

Thanks for the company on the run guys. Still have the rest day for raking leaves. Made it Mississauga later than planned but all good. That one road is a definite keeper.

Need to get with Max to map out the trunk of the Elephant!

Looking forward to the strawberry rhubarb pie and tarts...
