I am doing a Z06 body on my '14 C7 this winter and paint is the biggest cost. I've gotten quotes from a few places in Michigan just to paint versus doing the entire job.

Since the exchange rate is so good a trip over the border might save me quite a bit. I'm 35 minutes from Sarnia or Windsor and going as far as Toronto/Niagra would not be a big deal.

Anyone recommend a high quality body/paint shop within 3-4 hours of Sarnia/Windsor?

I don't think you will find much better than Champion Motors here in Toronto. Both body wise and mechanical they know Vettes inside out. They are as honest as the day is long. I have seen their body and paint work and it is top quality. Co-owner Peter, I believe, would be painting the car himself.

Champion will be some body work and paint on mine next week. I would check them out as they know what they are doing and priced competitively.

F1 collision in Windsor is supposed to be pretty good. They fix all the I higher end cars in Windsor. I'm sure champion is as good as everyone says as well. Always very helpful whenever I have called.

I would check the labour rates here in the GTA compared to Windsor and Michigan.
