I think Saturday will be my last day and Sunday will get her ready for winter. Sad day indeed!
Never stored a car for winter so I am facing it with trepidation, anxious about flatspots and ruining these expensive tires. I have my car cover, trickle charger, Sta-Bil for the gas, and will get some stucco grade Styrofoam to put underneath the tires. My garage is insulated but not heated and doesn't typically get very cold. Another person recommended putting carpet remnants underneath the tires, anything off the concrete. TireRack told me to pump up the tires to 45psi and that runflats extra stif sidewall shouldn't actually require anything, but just to be sure!

Missed the Niagara Cruise last year because it was pouring in the north. You guys had just spectacular weather as I recall. Rain or shine I am in for the next one. Give us a date Stan!
Good luck Joe getting the car put to bed, these youngsters can be cantankerous.

Good to know!
Just got out the trickle charger and looks like I need an extension cord. They talk about all these specs to look at but, really, anything should go for it, like those extensions cords from Crappy Tire? Was gonna use the Christmas Tree extension cords, I think it is such a small draw in power anyways.
Maybe I am overthinking the flatspot concern? I would rather just pump up my tires too, but in Ottawa it gets a lot colder than Whitby!

We headed up to Wasaga today, great day for a walk along the beach. There was a kid in swimming, water was fairly warm and no wind. Lots of cars with the top down out cruising today.

Washed and waxed today. On Monday fill the tank with stabl, pump up the tires, park it, remove the battery, and cover it up. I do have to remove the drivers seat to get repaired.

Brian those bean burritos are really hard on the seats.
This truly has been an incredible Corvette season. Stunning day yesterday, snow tonight. Wow.
Get it tucked away quick, and hope for an early spring.

I personally don't bother worrying about my tires too much, I just pump them up to 40psi and call it a day. But if you're super concerned about it you could always spend big bucks and get some Race Ramps Flatstoppers. They are about $200 to $300 US though!

See you in the spring! Hard to get up the foam but got er done. Tank full. Tires 45 psi. Made a mess with Stabil , didn't jam it far down enough ( witnesses newspaper soaking up stabil).
Soon it will be back to this!

Did you use the gas tank collar funnel that is part of the pack the dealer gives you? This forces the open the trap in the fuel tank and Stabile just flows on down.
