Turbo Stick's the Best Stocking Stuffer Ever - Paul has 'em
Hi guys/gals,
Did a great "little" 8200km road trip a few weeks ago and brought some goodies back from my buddy Ben in Colorado, the inventor of the Turbo Stick wheel cleaner.
I currently have an even dozen left and frankly can't think of a better stocking stuffer or buddy gift for everyone who likes clean wheels.
Pretty simple solution to the hassle and risk of pulling off wheels to clean them. Just put the turbo stick on your drill (cordless is best) and along with your favourite wheel cleaner quickly clean the inside barrel of your wheels in minutes. Wheels look great (and of course will stay that way longer) when the inside's done too.
This summer I brought a few back from Carlisle - Dave (DDP) got one.
If you went, you might have seen them at Adam's booth. Search "Turbo Stick" on this forum and you'll see there's a ton of great reports.
- No more pulling wheels off, risking damage and safety
- No more jamming your hands or wash pads inside a wheel
- Super quick, put it on your drill and wheel's done in minutes
Pretty much indestructable too. I've been using the same one now for about five years, with no shredding/breakage.
The cleaning pads don't scratch and the rod doesn't mar.
Tips:
- Gets around most brake calipers, just use the drill clutch feature in case it grabs or jams.
- I still like to drive the car just enough to move the wheels 180° and give a quick go-over.
- There's no splatter or spray - just keep it inside the wheel.
- Use with products like Sonax or Adam's deep wheel cleaners - perfecto!
I've got a dozen and I'll bring some with me to the Christmas Party on Friday, so PM me if you want one.

Sorry Murray - I should have mentioned that.
They sell online for between $US25-30, plus shipping and exchange.
I'm not aware of anyone in the GTA stocking this item, so I brought some back with me to offer savings and a convenience.
Just a really useful item to have. They're hand made in the US so while not necessarily cheap they are good value. They work and really last. I've been using mine regularly now for over 4 years and still looks/works like new.

We have never met but I live near Dave (DDP).
Just wondering if you have anymore turbo sticks.
Regards.

Sure, guys - still have some. Actually did bring them with me when we went to the Christmas party, but then forgot when we arrived.
Truly a smart design that my buddy Ben came up with. Start every car wash with wheels, and every wheel job with a quick go'round of the Turbostick. Def quicker and easier than a long wheel brush or woolie, and way smarter than pulling wheels off.
If anyone wants one, PM me and stop by if you're ever in the Mimico area (Royal York and Lake Shore.) Suppose I could bring some with me to the next HDR GTG. Stan usually organizes one mid-Feb, right Stan?
IF you're really in a hurry, PM me an address and I'll mail 'em to you, but prefer pickups to save me going to the post office.
