Default Paging Techno-geeks...step inside

Ok, so my gen 1 apple tv is dead. Need a new device to access the internet and various apps (i do not have a smart tv). What are the products out there that I should look into. Wife and kids all have 'i' this and 'i' that, but i like my android. I have a PS4 but having issues with it (want to access netflix mostly for now). Looking forward to being overwhelmed with options...appreciate any advice

Faraz, if Netflix is the driving factor, then any smart device will work as they mostly now come with the Netflix app installed.

I have the Roku Premiere and it's ok, not that I use it much really. Has all the Smart TV features and a whole lot more.

Or if you're looking for an, ahem, alternative, pick up a Raspberry pi running Kodi while you can.

I have to agree with Stan on this one. I picked up a cheap "Kodi" box last year. Most of my TV watching is done this way now. I even cancelled my Netflix as there is more content on Kodi. Since the box runs android you can run most apps on it.

If the "alternative" isn't for you... I do have an Apple TV v4 that I'd let you have for a reasonable price.
