Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Spray...great stuff!!!
I have been looking for a "wet look" tire dressing that acheives that nice wet look without the "plastic looking" shine. I found it today.
I decided to pick up some of Meguiar's Hot Shine tire spray in the bottle (not aerosol). I am inpressed. It gave my rubbers the wet look I was looking for. I applied it with a damp applicator. I drove the car about 45 minutes later. NO SLING!!!!!!! I put a second coat on just to see if it would make a difference. The tires look much wetter and had a nice deep shine. Definately worth the 5.49 spent on it. If you guys/gals are looking for a tire spray this one is the best I have found in a long time. Plus it is priced reasonably and you can find it at all auto parts stores.

I use to use Hot Spray and Stoners More Shine Less Time, but they always slung onto the paint when applied only via spray. (plus the wind carries it across the clean car, UGH !) Started using Poorboys Shine and never looked back. I hear that Mequires NXT Insane Shine will make your tires look like black paint, dont know if I would go that far.

I have never had a problem with any product when I applied it via a sponge or applicator. Plus I try and not saturate the tire...I use just enough to cover and give the tire the right shine. Maybe when I run outa this stuff I will try Poor Boys version.

I agree,
I have never sprayed on any product, I always apply to a cloth, sponge or applicator. thaqt way I do not get overspray on the wheels or paint and have never had a problem with slinging....

I have been using the Meguirs hot shine spray in the aerosol can and can't really say I'm that impressed with the shine. It is easy to apply because the spray is very narrow so it doesn't overspray but just doesn't shine the tires up THAT much.
I am looking forward to the new NXT stuff for sure.
