Default Clay Bar and Clear Coat

Don't laugh, but...will claying my C5 remove the clear coat?

And, yes I was told that by an infomercial guy at a car show!

Depends on the bar, some of them are pretty aggressive and in fact act similiar to wet sanding a car. But it is very very minute amounts.

The only clay bar that might remove a tad of clear coat and the car would have to be buffed after its use is the red version of Clay Magic, but there is no need to worry, it is never sold in stores, the likelyhood of you using this one is very, very small...
