[RainX] the miracle paint restorer!!!!
NOTE I am Referring to the the RAINX WINDSHIELD TREATMENT..
Don't ask how I got to trying this.. But my sons car.. My old beater..
1993 Nissan Altima is looking horrible.. now that HE is responsible for it..
The paint is chalky and cloudy. The clear coat is gone is most areas from continuous cleaner waxs over the years....
I know I can use tons of cleaners and swirl mark removers.... They are a lot of work and I have done it in the past...
I know RainX has some powerful cleaners.. so I decided to try something.. I put some on a Rag and lightly cleaned a 1' x 1' square... The rag turned BLACK!! I buffed it off and OMG fresh clean paint underneath! I then put a coat of Zaino Z2 Pro over it and it was like freshly shot paint!
I plan to get an entire bottle of RainX and do the whole car.. This cannot ruin the paint anymore than it is already...
My question. what is in RainX?? is it some type of acrylic?? or chemical bond?

I have an old bottle.
- ethyl alcohol
- ethyl sulfate
- isopropyl alcohol
- siloxanes
You might also want to check:

Tyep "rain-x" in the "Quick Search" box.
