Default Best tire dressing for natural black look?

I hate the look of shiny, wet-looking tires. I prefer a natural, dark black look.
Recommendations, please.

Optimum Tire Protectant is also nice in that it adds a natural sheen without the gloss. Dont mistake it for their Tire Gel (Anthony just talked about it done on another post) as I believe this is their glossy covering.

Heres a link to his post, look towards the bottom where we talk specifically about Optimum. Pricing on the entire line is nice also.

To add to those already mentioned you may want to try Poorboys Bold N Bright. It leaves a black look more so than a glossy look.

The Optimum Tire Shine gives a slightly glossier look than the Poorboys but also lasts longer. The great thing about the Tire Shine, as well as Poorboys, is there is no tire sling. Poorboys is best applied with a tire sponge while the Tire Shine is a spray on dressing.

I did forget to mention that I apply all dressings with an Eagle One tire swipe for even coverage and no sling.

Aerospace 303 on clean tires make them look new, not pimped.

It seems to help on wheels too. Brake dust doesn't stick as badly if I wipe the wheels down with 303 when I do the tires.

Cool. I've got some 303 - I'll give that a try.

Zaino Z16 was able to survive 2 heavy Chicago's rains only. Today morning my tires looked like before Z16. Doesn't durable at all

Default Z16

I prefer Zaino Z16 but aerospace 303 and Conneusors Choice (made by liquid glass) also work well if in a pinch.

Just like anything dealing with car care, prep work is important. If your tires aren't properly cleaned before applying ANY dressing, it will not produce optimum results.

Absolutely. I cleaned my wheels and tires with the Wolfgang wheel / tire cleaner, let them dry and applied 303 to the tires. It looked pretty good. These were my truck tires (truck=test vehicle) and have multiple scuffs and scrapes. Nevertheless, I like the look with the 303 and I'll stick with it for now.

Nice thing about 303 is that it is recommended for use on the alum wheels as well. I just tried it and it works great and you don't have to worry about keeping the dressing off the wheels. Keeps polished wheels looking GREAT!~

Stoner's tire product...once around for matte look, twice around for shiney look. I buy it by the case direct from Stoner.

I get good results with the Turtle Wax "Wet N Black" tire dressing.

What I like to do, in order to lessen the shine and eliminate any slinging onto the paint (which is brutal on black paint when it happens), is I will put the dressing on and let it sit for a while (sometimes an hour, sometimes overnight if I can), then I'll wash the car later and put the full pressure of the water on the tires, to wash off any excess.

Default Zaino Z16.

Zaino Z16 works perfect and does not sling or 303 (not quite as black as Zaino but not bad).

Use the Eagle One tire swipe and most of the main brands will work better.

Hey Tony,
I've been using 303 since I posted this and it gives me the exact look I want. I've found if I use two "treatments", the tire will get a little darker but not any shinier. Seems to last, too.
