Default Convertible Top Care?

I will be getting my first vette and convertible next week. What is the best way to clean the ragtop? Any suggestions for regular maintenance?

Many people use 303 and Raggtopp products.

Default Raggtopp

I use Raggtopp cleaner and also the Raggtopp spray protectant on my oak top. Does a very good job. Be sure to get the product that is suitable for your top. One type of Raggtopp is for vinyl and the another type is for fabric.

Vinyl or Cloth top? get the right product.

I prefer Raggtopp, but you have to buy it from an online retailer .
Aerospace 303 is also very good. YOu can buy it at most autoparts stores.

I'm asuming the C6 top is a fabric top. correct me if I'm wrong. I don't want to purchase the wrong product.

The C6 top is fabric.
You did not state it was a C6 Vette. So we could not tell the vintage and had to cover both types in our responses.

Default Vert top cleaner

I went to a site for the maker of the convertible top materials and got some info on cleaning products.
The manufacturer site is www.haartz.com and some info on cleaning at
/www.haartz.com/Consumer_Info/Consumer_Info_Main_Page.htm

Also some info at their site as to material used for various cars.
I sent them an e mail and they responded to me that mine was a fabric top.

I haven't seen one yet but has anybody got/seen a white top on a C6? I would bet they stayed with vinyl on the white. White cloth is just too hard to keep clean. Most people think it's been years since the Vette had a vinyl top but my 02 has the white vinyl.
