Default More polish/wax q's

I plan to wax (NXT) my car about once a month. Should I polish everytime I wax, or can I wax every month for 3 months and then do a polish and wax?

You only need to polish if you have something on your car you need to remove like swirls. Once a year is plenty even for black unless you are entering it in a car show.

With all their new products, Meguiar's has made waxing fun.

I personally like to Polish and Clay Bar every six months. Even on garage kept automobiles it seems to work. That said, you always want to use the least aggressive polish and only go to a more abrasive as necessary. Some of the lightest polishes, could be used monthly as they are more "filler" than abrasive to help hide surface marring.
