It would be almost impossible to tell (lucky guesses maybe). Could be Turtle Wax, could be bare paint, could be Vaseline.

As long as you're happy, stick with it.

C'mon bro, you're the self professed EXPERT..Help me out here..

How can I be happy with a car that looks like that?
The clear coat shines way too much & is too glossy..
People think I got my car re-cleared..

What should I do to bring out the metallic flake in the paint & tone down the gloss of the clearcoat?

I'll say none of the above. It looks like Glare Professional Polish to me.

Nice picture! That hood really looks nice on your car!

Whats hapening Ellis, had a great time up at Carlisle, your son is a very nice, well behaved kid and we enjoyed meeting him. He must take after his mother. Your car looks great minus all that rubber on the rear quarter panels. If you are looking for metallic pop I have found that Zaino works best on my silver lightning, probably something to do with its 99.5 percent optical clarity. You don't need to tone down the clearcoat gloss, thats the glory of Zaino, you can enjoy both. Just make sure you are using Z2 Pro and top it with Z8 and you will be amazed. It is the best of both worlds

Ya, Ellis changes his wheels like I change my socks. Apparently Heating and Air Conditioning is the business to be in. I love the 505a's. Don't forget Ellis, when you get tired of them give me a call first.

Hmmm, I thought they only had 5 spokes. Either way they are very similar/nice.

Looks like you did a lot of sharpening with photoshop......lots of artifacts in the picture....at least on my monitor.

Nice shine!

I was wondering the same thing about the pictures as they are unclear on my screen It's as if it has had filters applied to it.
