Default Machine Silver Touch-Up Paint

2006 Corvette - Wondering how close the paint match is with the GM Touch-Up Paint (code 67) and Machine Silver? I've read that touch-up paint does not blend well with Metallic colors.

Has anyone tried another brand of touch-up paint in Machine Silver?

Its not a vette but I have had a terrible time trying to get one that matches my silver L. Both Silver and metallics are hard to match.

I have heard if you wipe the top of the blob off the touchup it looks better since the metallic seems to settle, and then just remove the tail/residue with a product like langka.

67 is the right color.

No chips yet so I don't know how close it matches.
