Tire wet products keep spraying up onto car, how to prevent?
When I use tire gel/tire wet, even i use a moderate amount, the next time i drive the car it sprays off the wheel and leaves tiny marks all down the side of the car.
Thoughts?

This has been talked about many times on here.
Use a water-based dressing and apply with a tire swipe, foam applicator, etc. Dressings like Zaino Z16, Meguiar's Natural Shine, Adam's VRT, etc. all dry quickly.

I've never had that trouble, despite sampling many different products, both gels, and sprays.
other suggestions that might help:
make sure the tire is REALLY clean and dry before applying the tire treatment. Some people just rinse the tires with a hose, or don't even clean at all, then spray this goop on - not surprising that it would all fly off. Right now I like this approach
of course, wait 20 minutes or so to let the tire dressing dry before driving. I've used several products that come to mind, and have never had fling:
still haven't found a tire treatment that I didn't like I guess my point is to avoid piling one layer of a dressing on top of another, and to allow adequate time for drying.

- spray tires with Westley's bleach-white
- wait one minute
- use a brush, in water with Meguiars NXT shampoo to scrub the tire
- hose off
- then I spray again with simple green, scrub with brush, rinse again
- let dry , THEN apply your tire dressing

- meguiars insane shine
- meguiars endurance tire gel
- eagle 1 tire wet
- others I can't remember

I use Meg's endurance tire gel, Stoner's more shine less time and Meg's insane tire shine and have found that less is more especially with the gel. A thin coat will make the tire look just fine and minimize fling. But as Bugman points out, the tire needs to be clean and dry.
