You see it demoed a lot at car shows. They wax a part of your hood, then spray paint it, poor lighter fluid on it and light it on fire etc. And there is no damage to the paint, which is supposed to demonstrate how good it is.

Can a laser penetrate through IBIZ?
The old Auri product stopped a hot laser from penetrating the door of I believe a Pontiac in the 30 minute infomercial.

I was just curious, if this is such a good product and someone gave you an entire case as a gift, why would you want to get rid of all of it ?

Would you take 10 for a bottle ?

I went to the Corvette of America's website and could not find anywhere that said that Ibiz is their official wax. What I did find was that the website listed 10 different wax/polish vendors, one of which was Ibiz. Being the official wax of any club normally means that the vendor heavily discounts or gives his product to the club. It really doesn't mean much. Also a club can have several members or hundreds of members.

On the Ibiz website it sells for $19.95 a bottle or $199 for 12 bottles. The last show I was at he was selling the stuff for $20 which got you two 16 oz bottles and several other products. If there is anyone here that does like Ibiz you're probably gonna have to lower your price.

It means that it is *very* rarely talked about by the many members of this forum (along with many other automotive and detailing forums).

I'm not sure what the fire trick means - probably nothing. You take an extremely flammable liquid and burn it - it may actually product less heat on the paint than using a rotary buffer would. The part that is "burning" is really the vapors that are above the car, not the liquid ON the car. Recall people who are "firebreathers" -- they just spew flammable liquid out of their mouths and it burns AFTER it leaves the mouth - when it is dispersed into a spray of tiny particles. Same concept - their mouth and lips don't burn becuase it's only the vapors and aerosolized particles that can ignite.

have to be careful about magic tricks - as you guys all know.
walking on hot coals?
laying on a bed of nails?
those are things that EVERYONE can do - simple thermodynamics and physics. But their still touted as something special by those who want to deceive.

The true test: can a car treatment protect against a bird bomb? Haven't seen one yet that could.

The magic tricks apparently work. Got this guy a case of magic tricks. You can burn lighter fluid in the palm of your hand.

Protect against bird bombs and acid rain? Now were just dreaming. We are more likely to have BIG FOOT move next door to us...
