Whats The Best Wax
I have been using Meq. Gold for years, on my classic's and vettes.
I continue to read different forum members comments on Zanio, wolfgang.
I am going to place a order this morning, I will go with the advice the pro's give from the forum.
Thanks
Jim

I used Meguiar's products for about 15 years until last summer.
I had a chance to try finish protection products from Adams Premium Car Care products, their really quite amazing. Easy on, easy off, and the shine is outstanding.
Visit their website at: http://www.adamspolishes.com/
You can order them directly or I get mine through West Coast Corvettes, which is a little cheaper.

There's lots of good waxes out there, but I prefer Pinnacle Souveran Carnauba Wax for it's ease of use and brilliant depth of shine!..

Talk about opening Pandora's box!
I've read so much about the different brands, etc. I went the Zaino route. Easy on and off as well and after a road trip of 400 miles, just a cloth and some z6 -- bugs came right off. Finished with Z8 before the show.
I'm sure that any of the brands mentioned in the thread will work fine, have fun!

Lots of Good Brands
I've used 3M's products for years. They have a range that can fix any problem with your paint - going down the abrisiveness ladder, that would be Coarse Rubbing Compound, Medium Rubbing Compound, Fine Rubbing Compound, Swirl Mark Remover and finally their Show Car Wax. Don't be afraid to use these on finishes that need them - they're made for automotive use. You can use all 5 and stay well within the clear coat on a modern car.
Having said that, if your paint is in good condition, I like less abrasive products. I really like Zymol's HD Cleanse as a cleaner - it uses montan oil to chemically dissolve contaminents instead of physical abrasives used in the 3M and other lines. However I find the Zymol waxes are more difficult to apply than some with no benefit.
You also have to think of the time you want to spend doing this. A good one-step product (Meguiar's or other) contains an abrasive cleaner and a wax, meaning you only need half the time working on your car compared to single products for each of these functions.
Advice? OK, I'll go out on a limb. Get a clay bar and use this on your car after washing. If you need a middle step to even out the paint or remove swirls, try Zymol's HD Cleanse or 3M's Swirl Mark Remover. Once that is done, or if your paint is in good condition to begin with, move to a premium wax like the many brands mentioned in this forum. I have seen good results with Meguiar's NXT and Medallion, Rejex, 3M's Show Car Wax (the paste version, NOT the liquid) and the P21 Carnauba wax. YMMV!

Zaino here!!!!!
Zaino car wash, and Zaino Z-8 here. I only do the whole Zaino wax thing once a year. My car is a 98 and the paint never faded in the brutel Florida sun. I'll never use anything but Zaino.
