overspray mist on windshield -- how to remove?
i've some very faint paint overspray mist on part of my windshield.
whats the best way to remove it without using the obvious such as paint thinner or the like?

I have done it on a windshield before and you can use your fingernail a little too with the clay since it's the windshield you can't rub marks into it with your finger.

0000 steel wool and your favorite glass cleaner would take care of it also.

If the area is not too large, try a new single-edge razor blade with some QD on the glass.

Another vote for the 0000 steel wool here. Learned that trick from a very good body man, works great.

some great ideas for the mental tool box, thanks guys.
i used a clay bar, right after i made my last post. it was a fairly small area.
i worked perfectly

Took my CB 12 to the dealer to re- paint the hubs. They got the hub gray spray paint all over the windows. Favorite Glass Cleaner, Clay Bar or blade did not work. All help welcome. Won't go back to them - even for routine services.
