What Happens if you put Z2 or Z5 Zaino on without the Z1
I'm hard pressed because a car show is coming up this weekend and I don't have any Z1. I have some on order along with the clay bar but it probably won't get here before then. This will be the first time I've used the Zaino polish. I have the Z2 and the Z5 so what would happen if I put either one of these on the car without the Z1? Then....if I did, and when I do get the Z1, do I just put it over the existing Z2 or Z5 or do I need to get it off the car before putting the Z1 on?? :confused:

For the show, just put the 2 or 5 on and do the Z-1 when it comes in, this is fine. You will not have to remove any polish to use the Z-1 next time.

If you do this please be very careful how & where you drive. Z1 is a polish lock without it, Z2 & Z5 can slide right off. This is especially dangerous if it slips off on the street on the way to the show. A Zaino spot on the street is invisible and worse than black ice.
My advice is to Z2 at the show and slide it off the car before leaving the show area. If you are careful you can roll it up and reapply to the car after you get your Z1. However if it is windy don't bother. :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Do not worry, no black ice in Joplin MO anticipated...
Got Mike all fixed up. Seems I had some Z1 laying around. We washed his car with Z7, then Z1, then Z5 once again. It...will...be...fine.
He's got a nice car. Can't wait till I get to ride shotgun when the nitrous kicks in! :cool:
