Cleaning Aluminum Intake Manifold
I have an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold that is starting to get a bit dirty looking. The surface is somewhat rough, like a casting. Any ideas on how to clean it up?

I have great results using Mother's Mag/Aluminum polish.
works great with a mother's powerball, or for tighter spots, the min-powerball, and your power drill. Try this first.
Be sure to use tape, and plastic sheeting, to protect the rest of your engine compartment, windshield, etc - -- once the drill starts, the blackened polish will go flying everywhere. Save yourself a HUGE nightmare of cleanup afteward.
