Calling all Zaino experts...please posts your steps for a newbie
Just received a PM from a member. Here's what he goes through,
1. Wash car with Dawn
2. Menzerna IP w/Orange pad speed 6 on PC. Go over each area 1 time or more if needed to get swirls.
3. Menzerna FP w/white pad 1 time speed 6 on PC.
4. Z5 Zaino 3 coats.
When you think it looks good then go to 5.
5. Z2 2 coats.
6. Z6 entire car
7. Zaino CS.
8. Z6 entire car
9. Z8 entire car
Please posts the steps that have worked for you and any other products or equipment involved.

That's a pretty hardcore regimine.
There's no need for the Dawn wash when you're polishing. I rarely apply more than 2 coats of Z5 and/or Z2, but you can apply as many as you like, as long as you allow adequate curing time.

As said 2-3 coats is all I have ever applied in a day, on dark colors I would apply 2 coats of Z-5 and 1 coat of Z-2, any more than 3 coats you will want to do over a 2 day period to allow proper drying time, if you are buffing 2 coats of Z-5 and 1 coat of Z-2 will be all you need.

After paint is properly prepped I like a coat of Z5p and then usually follow up with either a second coat of Z5p or Z2p. I will then add a coat of CS and after it dries I spritz with Z8. This is all I need for the "ULTIMATE" Shine. That is IT, no million coats needed.
Note: If I use a non Zaino product for perpping I will sometimes do a 50/50 wipe or Z7 wash. If prepping with ZPC or Z-AIO just move right on to your Zainoing.
I also do the baggie test first to see if claying is required.
Of course you cannot forget the Z16 on tires and Z9/Z10 on the leather interior.

Whatever you use for polish, Zaino product or not, you should wash the car before the Z5 (Dawn isn't necessary...just any good wash stuff). Helps get the PC dust off and any areas that still may have latent PC or polish.
