Default Adam's --- Zaino ---

Who has used both? Which one would you recommend and why? Did you terry cloth towels or Microfiber towels to dry and remove polish?

My favorite is Zaino AIO and I also use Rejex.

I haven't tried Adam's wax because I want to stick with the polymer based products.

But I use Adam's microfiber cloths and detail spray because it's the best stuff around.

Don't really think it's a A versus B issue. There are lots of good products out there. Have used both however and for shine and durability, it's Zaino in a walk 4 me. Having said that, lots of folks have positive things to say about Adams, their detail spray is very good & their new super deluxe microfiber towels are the softest I've ever seen, ever. Both lines have lots of good products to keep the car clean inside & out.

Thanks for the thumbs up. Every couple of months or so, I used ZPC with a porter cabke, that's the paint cleaner/swirl remover, follow that with the new all in one cleaner/polish by hand, then a thin coat of either Z5 Pro or Z2 Pro, sometimes one of each ..surface maintains a wow shine pretty much all the time, in between details, I just spray it down with either the Z6 spray or the Z8 ..works 4 me ..

Zaino in a landside, no offense to Adams. Zaino just seams to be better than all the brands I've tried, and I have tried a lot. Klasse, Wolfgang, Poorboys, Adams, Chemical Guys/Warner, p21s, fk1, AM, Tropicare, etc. They are all good detailing products, but Zaino is something special if you ask me. People either seam to love it or hate it, I chose to love it. Great durabilty and great look sealants, and his periferel products like Z9&10, Z16, Z6,Z8 are all just as impressive and his benchmark sealants. You can try emailing Sal directly, he will email you back with a response very fast usually. sal@zainobros.com

I don't know about all this "is Adam's and Chemical Guys the same stuff?" but having used Adam's detail spray and also having a jug of it, I ordered a jug of Chemical Guys detail spray to see the rumored similarities first hand. I've been told they look, smell, and pretty much work the same. I think the CG jug cost me 3 bucks less so it's not that big of a deal. I'm just curious. I still think Adam's has some great products that I will continue to buy. Their mf cloths in particular are outstanding.

Regarding this thread, I have used a lot of different products in my bussiness and while everything on this thread is very good, I truely believe that Zaino is on a different level.

I like both lines, but much prefer Zaino on my paint.

ZAIO, Z2/Z5Pro, and Z8 are all awesome and what I prefer on my metallic silver paint over Adam's.

Adam's VRT, Glass Cleaner, and Detail Spray are all top notch products in their own regards. Buttery Wax is okay, but not durable, so I prefer Z polishes on my paint.

I haven't tried Adam's Leather Conditioner, but Z10 is awesome. Z16 lasts longer on tires than Adam's VRT.

Basically what I'm saying is I use products from both companies, but stick with Zaino on my paint, and dabble in other products on trim, V&R, leather, etc.

Once again, comments are posted that do not answer the specific question

The creator of the thread asked, who has just Adams and Zaino, and which do you prefer, period. All that needs to be done is, answer the question without going off topic, and without bashing one product over another.

Simple IMHO

I use both lines, both are excellent. I prefer Zaino on painted surfaces, and generally use Adams on the rest (except leather, I prefer the Zaino product). Adams VRT, is great, and I really like their detail spray as well. They also have a couple of neat products like undercarriage spray that is great. On painted surfaces you cant beat a polymer for longevity - Zaino is fantastic here.

Adams customer service is fantastic also.
