You know, the long and short of it is,I have used A TON of different products from FORMULA 113 that I bought at CARLISLE a couple of years ago,to ZAINO, MAGUIRES,TURTLE WAX,AND so many others I can't remember all the names, and 1 thing they all have in common is MY CAR SHINES LIKE A BITCH when I'm done waxing!!! The only variations are level of difficulty in the on/off procedure -zaino..wait 1/2 hour after applying to take it off, etc, and a slight, very slight difference in shine factor.I'm sure NUFINISH,which I'm sure I must have ised at some point, will be fine!

Never used it on my Vettes or BMW - I am a Zaino man. I used a ton of the stuff on my Airplane though - it works great.

Why not? I have used it before, and I have used turtle wax also, and they work great. I guess only expensive waxes and polishes can touch a precious Vette. I used cheap turtle wax on my car and it looks just as good as Zaino, or any of the expensive waxes/polishes

Nufinish on a new finish, what are you nuts. Stick to things that are made to apply more than once a year. And if you really like the paint finish, that what it takes. I perfer Rejex.

Just my personal opinion here. I've also used a lot of products, and I've used NuFinish for a long time, because its cheap, and because it lasts so long. I think its great for cars that live outside all the time, and get daily use.

My Corvette, however, lives mostly in the garage, and only comes out in good weather, so I put Rejex on it because it gives a better shine. I can't vouch for how long Rejex lasts because I reapply it often, and never wash the car, and don't drive it in the rain. I've used Zaino on my vettes in the past, and it works well, I've just kind of settled on Rejex for this vette.

My truck doesn't have a space in the garage, and my wife's car goes to work with her and sits under trees all day, so I use NuFinish on them. My wifes car is 6 years old and we've always used NuFinish on it. and the paint looks pretty good. I only re-apply it about twice a year on both vehicles, and I wash them fairly often, so I'm happy with that. I think of it more as a paint protector than a shiny wax.

I have never used it on the Corvette. Have used it on my pickup truck several years ago. To be honest, I was not overly impressed with it.
By now they certainly could have made some improvements to it.

I use MaGuires on all of my vehicles now. They look pretty darn good.

with Paul . . . .

I think you'll find there are better treatments out there to enhance the finish on your Vette. Without getting into the weekly Zaino mantra, I've always been a fan of Meguiars cleaners and waxes and found them easy to use with a great shine.

Don't fall victim to the late night TV ads . . .spend alittle time at your local Checker Auto parts, Auto Zone, etc or ask a few questions at a local car show.

Good luck - - and post a few pictures when you're finished waxing!

NFW. So many quality products out there, and NuFinish isn't one of them.

Rejex is amazing stuff. I also put it on a Mazda 3 that sits in the hot CA sun every day. It's still holding up after 6 months...

I used it back in the 80's way before my Zaino and Vette days.

Rejex works for me. The effort / reward ratio can't be beat.

Man, stand down. You don't even know me. Yes, I only use Zaino on my Corvette that's a choice, it has nothing to do with "expensive". For me it is only about results. If my comment touched your delicate sensitivity I guess for that I'm sorry. You use what you want, I'll use what I want. Fair enough? When you start paying for my supplies then you get to decide. When I was growing up, NuFinish was a joke hawked on TV like an infomercial. Perhaps it is improved but I only have my past experience to go by.

Yeah, and after awhile, that "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice..." axiom kicks in.

We are getting along (some of us). It's the "holy wars" of LS2 vs.LS3, Kooks vs. ARH vs. LGM, Goodyear vs. FSWO, Corsa vs. Bullets, clear bra vs. no bra (I meant, vinyl), NPP vs. all others, Dyno vs. DragStrip, and finally,

Zaino vs. the world!!!!

Must be the summer heat and heat soaked Vettes thats got people in a snippy mood.

Talk about summer heat, its been unreal here in FL temps around 82 in the morn, highs around 95 dewpoints above 76 and humidty over 70%.
