california duster , again
i always thought these dusters to be a bad approach . lately i look at the 2000 and wish i could dust it but i'm afraid to [got a cover but like to see the car so don't use it] . i did a search and read the duster comments . seems like all comments were good . how do i know i'm getting the real thing and not a 'knock off' as some comments suggested there was more than one 'california duster like' product on the market . all comments appreciated , thank you. . . . .peace

I got my California Dusters at Target....I think the exterior/large one was ~$10 and the smaller one for the interior was ~$7. Both are the genuine dusters, not knock-offs.

Got mine from Pep Boys for $10 bucks and use it all the time. My question though is can the duster get too dirty? Is there a way to wash it or for $10 do you just go get a new one?

As far as knockoffs go, if it says "original california duster", thats it.

As wrong as it might sound, the dirtier it gets the better it performs. I have had mine for over 10 years and would NOT sell it. No scratches on either car it has been used on including my AE.

I would go to PB and get the new Mega Calif Duster. I think they are 17 bucks but well worth it as they are very plush and have strands all the way around. It also has a longer stick.

Been using mine for over 3 years. It is black as hell and works great.
